Have you ever felt you aren't living up to your full potential and that there is something blocking?
- You are depressed or anxious
- Unable to fully engage with life
- Have physical symptoms
- Feel chronically stressed and overwhelmed
- And find relationships difficult and unfulfilling
Do you manage your life by engaging in unhealthy habits?
Our everyday suffering is unnecessary and is produced by unconscious beliefs that are no longer relevant, true,
or necessary.
Unconscious beliefs and unprocessed trauma can show up as chronic tension and stiffness, nervous systems disorders, anxiety, depression, nightmares, chronic illness, low self-esteem, and various inabilities to function at full capacity.
Health is our natural state.
Healing involves removing the obstacles to this natural state
and bringing individuals in alignment with themselves and their world.
Discover, Connect, and Expand to Experience Life with Meaning and Intimacy
The mind and body influence and interact with one another
Mind and Body Integration is a unique approach to recognizing and understanding the partnership between mind and body. With a compassionate approach we bring together unconscious information into awareness, facilitating deep and lasting changes.
Techniques used include:
- Hakomi methods for working with shame, anger boundaries, and developmental wounds
- Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for trauma and Post Traumatic Syndrome Disorder (PTSD)
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for anxiety and depression
- Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) skill training
- Support for addiction processes to manage alcohol and drug abuse
- Mindful awareness approaches for dealing with stress and life-balance concerns
- Support for individuals as a complement to their work in couples counseling
In addition, I offer Somato Respiratory Integration (SRI) specifically designed to educate you to your body rhythms and inner wisdom through focused attention, gentle breath, motion, and touch. SRI is a practice and a skill set that you can take with you and practice at home.
